Zesty Baguette Bistro is a fabulous French-Vietnamese restaurant in Destin, Florida. Founded in April 2016, it is a new gem along the Emerald Coast. It’s creators, Duc Tran and Dr. Dao, both seek to pair energetic flavors and simple foods to make meals designed for savoring. Traditional French and modern Vietnamese styles combine to feature a menu that has regional favorites and global flair.
Just steps away from the Craft Bar, Zesty Baguette Bistro serves locals and tourists alike. The eatery serves lunch and dinner, every day of the week. The bistro is happy to book groups and cater special events.
Appetizers include the delicious CHÀ GIÒ CRISPY EGG ROLLS, with chicken, shrimp and Woodear mushrooms. Another offering from the menu is the SPECIAL MANGO WRAP, with mixed lettuce, mango, Asian mix, and French butter. It comes with a pho broth soup and egg roll. Classics include short rib, grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, and grilled Atlantic salmon. Zesty Baguette Bistro’s LEMONGRASS CHICKEN is wok-seared chicken, spinach, green beans, lemongrass sauce, onions, bell peppers, and steamed rice. Another Vietnamese dish is the MILD YELLOW CURRY. It has curry sauce, arugula, red bell peppers, yellow squash, zucchini, and steamed rice, and it can be served with tofu, grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, or grilled salmon to add a little something extra. GRILLED RACK OF LAMB, and Australian lamb, with kale mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, and wine sauce is also sure to please. A selection of signature sandwiches are also on the menu. For example, the EPICE CHICKEN, a crispy chicken with pickled ginger, Asian mix, chili sauce, and avocado pesto on a ciabatta bun.
As mentioned before, the Zesty Baguette Bistro can be hired for private events. Up to 80 people can be served for dining parties, and up to 100 for cocktail events. For parties of 20 people or more, guests will receive two hors d’oeuvres, a main course, a dessert, and a glass of wine or beer. You can also add extra hors d’oeuvres and champagne if you prefer to take your event up a notch. If you wish to have a cocktail party, groups of 25 or more will enjoy treats from around the world. For all packages, a wine menu can be provided upon request.
