While this takes the side of national security more than commercial security, this is vital for aspiring National Security Master’s Degree graduates to know. While a firearm is purchasable at a store and the capabilities of such weapon is widely known, knowledge of more powerful weapons is necessary to ensure national security. Weapons of Mass Destruction, like nuclear warheads, are active and ready to use at a moment’s notice. The power and destruction behind these weapons are terrifying, which is why they are never used. Knowing the policies and procedures for weapons such as these is important to know should the occasion ever come that they need to be used.
